1. Homes for Senior Citizens/Challenged Persons.
i) Open to resident Senior Citizens as well as day visitors and meet their individual as well as collective needs;
ii) Boarding, lodging and laundry services in a respectable environment for residents;
iii) Clean and hygienic surroundings;
iv) Help individuals take care of their specific medical and personal needs in accordance with their doctors’ prescription;
v) Periodic doctors’ visits;
vi) Maintain contact with their sponsors or guardians, if any; and call them in case of any emergency;
vii) Reading room with reading material to be selected in consultation with the residents and day visitors, including newspapers, magazines, books etc.
viii) Common room with facilities for indoor games and workout, to be selected in consultation with the resident as well as day visitors;
ix) Open green areas for strolling, chatting and relaxing in fresh air;
x) Individual counseling designed to nurture positivity, motivation, desire to be useful in whatever way one can – in nutshell, a happy frame of mind;
xi) Engage them in meaningful activities in consonance with the individual’s education, skill, aptitude, talent areas, motivation, attitude etc. In the process, giving them awareness of repertoire of personal capabilities, personal potential, aimed at boosting self-confidence and self-empowerment;
xii) Giving a purpose to life by helping in personal goal setting in line with individual’s typical situation and boosting mental toughness to face challenges in life;
xiii) Equipping individuals with appropriate skills if possible, once again, to give a purpose to life;
xiv) Special Visits/lectures by experts like sociologists, psychiatrists, journalists, celebrities etc.
xv) Activities like physical exercise, yoga, picnics, Mall visits, outstation tours etc.
xvi) Systems to help and assist senior citizens at their homes including (but not limited to) visits by volunteers in an emergency, or simply to give company to a lonely person confined to his home;
xvii) Any other service which is considered necessary and can be provided.
In short, help them live a dignified, comfortable, fulfilling and happy life.

2. Physical Disability Rehabilitation Program
SAMM TRUST has launched this program for the poor and needy physically challenged individuals in collaboration with the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Karachi, Support the Physical Disability Rehabilitation and Sponsorship Programs through Zakat, sadaqaat and donations.
3. Sponsorship of Individuals in the Network Institutions
Other institutions are selected on the basis of their congruity to our objectives and individuals, who are being supported by those institutions, are sponsored.
4. Scholarship to deserving Students
This program is run in collaboration with Educational Institutions.
5. Provision of Ration to the poor
Ration is provided every month to widows and others in financial difficulties.
